Shameless Plug for Orson Scott Card

When I'm in between books, I always make my way back to Orson Scott Card's Ender series, and each time I read one of these novels, I manage to find something new in it. This week, I reread Children of the Mind and began to wonder how Card would interpret the current world situation in light of the ideas on war he presented in that book.

I zipped right over to Hatrack River, Card's home on the webernet. Despite our difference in politics as evidenced by Card's latest "Uncle Orson Reviews Everything" column, I still love his site, which is chock full of features like "Uncle Orson's Writing Class," a research area for students who are writing about Card's work, and a discussion forum devoted to Battle School.
