Cat-A-Tac CD Release Party

Trying to reconnect with my local music scene I decided to check out the CatA-Tac CD release party at The Larimer Lounge, Denver last saturday. I was pleased with what I heard. Their sound was space rock with washed out guitars and slightly submerged vocals. The album "Past Lies and Former Lives" was out May first on Needlepoint Records listen to some tracks at cat-a-tac.com. Opening up was label mates Everything absent or distorted who were lots of fun complete with trombone, banjo and shouted sing alongs. Also playing was Born in the Flood who blew me away.
