Buttons and badges and bubbles, OH MY!! A smorgasboard of free vector art. Also - Illustrator tutorials - and plenty of them. I'm going to try my hand with the Scanner Darkly effect.
Faux Bold
I was looking for a handy way to duplicate Photoshop's faux bold in Illustrator, for fonts that don't provide a bold option, and I came across this Faux Bold Equivalent posting in Graphic Forums.
And being curious, I thought I'd look more closely at these Graphic Forums, and I found what is something of a treasure trove of handy information, particularly in the Learn > Tutorials area.
