I hit upon these guys, whose genius (I contend) is in the blending of delicious illustration with video, after coming across the work of designer-illustrator, Mate Steinforth. Check him out too.

Japanese design agency TBWA Hakuhodo has a fantastic motion graphics site. Of course, I have no idea how to navigate half of it, but it sure is gorgeous!

YES-2-TECH, the Youth Exploring Science (YES) team, took first place in the Instructables, Popular Science, and Treehugger.com Go Green Contest with their Geodesic Dome Instructable.

Instructables has always been a favorite site of mine. Whenever I visit it, I invariably spend entirely too much time browsing the creative ideas therein - social inventing.

YES is a St. Louis Science Center program that facilitates science, mathematics, and technology education and experience for low-income St. Louis teens.

LIVE EARTH: a 24 hour live music event that will take place simultaniously on seven continents on July 7, 2007 (7.7.07) and is designed to trigger a global movement to fight climate change.

startdrawing.org: An Asian drawing portal designed to showcase and share drawings from around Asia.

Startdrawing for LIVE EARTH is an initiative calling for artists around the world to submit a green drawing by 7.7.07 to be added to a massive visual message in sync in meaning and time with LIVE EARTH's musical message.

How to participate: Draw anything in GREEN and send it to startdrawing.liveearth@gmail.com before 7/7/07.

I love paperinside.com, a site devoted to making available downloadable paper models of everything... from The Titanic to Eric Cartman. Just download the pdf files, and get cutting, folding, pasting. Some of these are really intricate.
