Internships
We offer both technology and editorial internships. If you are looking to create a custom internship opportunity, just let us know what you have in mind.
Location: Telecommute. Weekly phone meetings with supervisor and one conference call with other editorial staff. Potential on-site visits with boutiques, artists, galleries, designers.
Editorial
Responsibilities: Editorial Interns will be responsible for producing one feature / month on an artist or organization in their field. The production of this feature will require an interview questionnaire reviewed by Enfuse Supervisor, an in-person or phone based interview with the featured artist / organization and a draft write-up reviewed by the Enfuse supervisor. Assistance will be provided in using the Enfuse content management tool to publish the draft article.
Networking: Use of Internet Message Boards, personal contacts and industry associations to promote the Enfuse Social Network, user-driven promotional tools and generate activity from existing / new users.
Research & Collaboration: Review other sites and publications to get a better understanding of the field and the needs / interests of users. Interact with other Enfuse editorial staff, users and industry resources to provide direction to technology group regarding necessary functionality and positioning.
Technology
Requirements: Opportunities exist for graphic designers and programmers.
Designers must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Adobe Flash skills are also helpful.
Programmers must be knowlegeable in HTML, Javascript and CSS. Experience with Cold Fusion is especially useful.
